R.O.S.E CEC HBG is a Community Engagement Center (CEC) located in Downtown Harrisburg, Pennsylvania committed to providing accessible resources to the community with a service-oriented attitude. Our mission is to serve as a bridge between individuals, families, businesses and organizations through effective programs, services and projects that aid in the development of stronger communities. At our CEC, we strive to provide opportunities for community members to engage in positive activities that help build meaningful relationships, create a sense of belonging, foster collaboration and collective problem solving. We offer a variety of programs and services such as activities and events, workshops, classes, and mentoring to meet the needs of our diverse community members. R.O.S.E CEC HBG is continually exploring ways to best serve our community and welcome the participation of volunteers from all backgrounds. R.O.S.E CEC HBG conducts a mentoring program for inner city youth, providing multifaceted mentoring and training activities targeted to youths between the ages of 10 and 18. Topics include Goalsetting, the staple of the program; Time Management, Interview Skills, Money Management and Communications.
